The on-line streaming event taking place on February 14th titled “millennium parade Live 2020” was filmed during a live performance on December 23rd 2020. ABOUT millennium parade
millennium parade is a creative collective led by Tokyo-based producer/songwriter Daiki Tsuneta, who also leads one of the Japan’s biggest bands, King Gnu. They are an energetic group of artists from various creative fields, including music, film direction, visual effects, design & illustration. Their music is electronic-leaning, overlaying chaotic beats, with synths & pop-inspired melodies.
The group’s collective vision strives to present Tokyo’s new values to the rest of the world. Emerging in 2019, with memorable music & companion videos (created by the collective), their innovative launch party utilized 3D technology, and their live shows have sold out rapidly. In 2020, ‘Fly with me’ was the main theme for world famous Japanese animation ‘Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045’ & was remixed by Steve Aoki. The genre-bending ‘Philip’ followed, spinning tales of injustice & hope.
The mysterious group have already collaborated with DIOR & most recently adidas, for whom Tsuneta was named a Global Ambassador. Tsuneta has also featured in campaigns for Coach / Jean Michel Basquiat & more. The chaos will continue with their debut album Feb 10.
