“ARCHE”, DIR EN GREY’s concert at Nippon Budokan for the first time in 2 years, was held on February 5th – 6th, and it was very successful.
Now they have announced that they will release the concert Blu-ray & DVD “ARCH AT NIPPON BUDOKAN” in June.
They performed all songs from their 9th album “ARCHE” which was released in December, 2014 while showing the unique footage.
They showed us their uniqueness of “ARCHE” and the talent of DIR EN GREY, and these two days were like a miracle.
They also announced that their new single will be released in July. This one will be 28th single for DIR EN GREY, and it’s the first time in 2 years and 6 months since last their single “SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH” was released on January 22nd in 2014 and 1 year and 7 months since “ARCHE” was released.
The promotion of “ARCHE” has come to an end with these 2 days Budokan concert, and they are taking a new step with a new single.
Furthermore, they will start the next Japan concert tour “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of VULGAR]” on June 3rd. They used the name of their 4th album “VULGAR” released on September 10th in 2003 as a subtitle for the tour. They will perform 9 times in Nagoya, Sendai, Osaka, Kurashiki, and Tokyo. As you can see from the title, the concert schedule will be added, and it will change the subtitle like “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of DUM SPIRO SPERO”, and “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of 鬼葬]”. They will start this concert tour without a new album, but they use “VULGAR”, “DUM SPIRO SPERO”, and “鬼葬” as its subtitle, so fans must be expecting various situations .
