B’z the most popular rock band from Japan, have announced the West Coast North American leg of their “B’z LIVE‐GYM 2011” tour.

The North American run includes shows in Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. This is a rare opportunity to see this group in a small and intimate setting. These shows are sure to sell out quickly, as the B’z have dedicated fans around the world.

Although known for their elaborate staging, lighting and pyrotechnics, this tour is chance to see the essence of the group and the music at their core. A simple stripped down version, which brings the audience into the fold of the group. A chance to see the power and strength, which true fans have followed for years.

Formed in 1988 the duo of Tak Matsumoto and Koshi Inaba, are continually breaking with own chart records, 17 studio albums, 48 singles and sale of over 80 million units just Japan, B’z are the most recognizable band name in Japan.

As only one of five iconic guitar players to have their own signature model Gibson line of guitars, Tak Matsumoto, is regarded as leading example of guitar players for young students throughout Asia. In 2010, Tak was honored with a Grammy Award for his side solo? project album with Larry Carlton, “Take your Pick”. Koshi Inaba, whose powerful voice has inspired rock singers of all ages, is even more well known for his style and lyrics, which many dedicated fans have memorized and can quote on demand. Koshi is one of the featured vocalists on Slashes album “Slash” world wide release.

B’z start the Asian leg of their tour, September 23rd in Fukui, Japan.
