Aniplex of America Launches U.S. Teaser Site And Reveals Key Visual for Summer Action Comedy Anime: Cells at Work!

Aniplex Inc. announced recently that they will be developing the manga series about anthropomorphized cells within the human body, Cells at Work!, into a TV anime series. Aniplex of America also launched a teaser site and a Facebook page for the brand new action comedy anime slated to debut in summer of this year. The series is an anime adaptation of popular manga series by Akane Shimizu from publisher Kodansha’s shonen manga magazine Monthly Shonen Sirius. Animation production will be handled by anime powerhouse david production (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, ERASED) with Kenichi Suzuki (Drifters, Crayon Shin-chan) as director, series composition by Yuko Kakihara (Persona 4: The AnimationDigimon Adventure tri.), and character design by Takahiko Yoshida (Honey and Clover, Oreimo2). LiSA Releases 13th Single “ASH” Worldwide on Dec 1

LiSA’s new single “ASH” was just out in a worldwide digital release on December 1st.  This is LiSA’s second single release from SACRA MUSIC.  Written by Mao and Aki of renowned visual-kei band SID, “ASH” is the 2nd opening theme to the anime Fate/Apocrypha.  It is LiSA’s first time in 6 years to perform an opening theme for the Fate series since her very first single, “oath sign”.  The title song “ASH” from the single has been released early as a digital sale in Japan, and has already topped at#1 on 13 digital platforms.   Keep Reading

Aniplex of America Releases HoneyWorks’ Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart

Aniplex of America has revealed the subtitled trailer and additional information for HoneyWorks’ new TV series, Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart. on its website. Lovingly coined “Boku10” in Japan, the anime is a spin-off of HoneyWorks’ two-part films, I’ve always like you. and The moment you fall in love. Much like the films, the series is inspired by the music from the popular Vocaloid group’s “Confess Your Love Committee -Romance Series-” which has garnered over 400 million views on Youtube, NicoNico and other platforms. Lay-duce (Fate/Grand Order –First Order-) will be animating the series alongside Director Takura Tsukada (Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood) and series composition by Yoshimi Narita from the previous two films.  Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart. has begun its six episode run on November 24th on Crunchyroll. Release Hit Anime Series Sword Art Online II on Blu-ray and DVD

1 year after the SAO incident, Kirito is approached by Seijirou Kikuoka from Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Department “VR Division” with a rather peculiar request.
That was an investigation on the “Death Gun” incident that occurred in the gun and steel filled VRMMO called Gun Gale Online (GGO). “Players who are shot by a mysterious avatar with a jet black gun lose their lives even in the real world…” Failing to turn down Kikuoka’s bizarre request, Kirito logs in to GGO even though he is not completely convinced that the virtual world could physically affect the real world.
Kirito wanders in an unfamiliar world in order to gain any clues about the “Death Gun.” Then, a female sniper named Sinon who owns a gigantic “Hecate II” rifle extends Kirito a helping hand. With Sinon’s help, Kirito decides to enter the “Bullet of Bullets,” a large tournament to choose the most powerful
gunner within the realm of GGO, in hopes to become the target of the “Death Gun” and make direct contact with the mysterious avatar.
