LiSA’s last single “Gurenge”, opening theme of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, a TV anime series that had been aired from April thru September, became the first digital release of a female solo singer to mark over 300,000 downloads in 2019 (as of September 22, 2019, source: record label research) and was certified platinum by the Japan Record Association’s paid digital music certification system.
Now her new single “unlasting,” which has been aired since Monday, October 21 as the closing theme of TV anime series Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Wonderland, is digitally available in its entirety prior to the release of the single!
As soon as it was digitally released simultaneously worldwide, it took the upper divisions of various digital stores’ real-time and daily charts by storm! On iTunes’ J-POP charts in the Asian region, it became #1 in Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau to name a few!
This release also marks the first time for LiSA to have streaming available on subscription services simultaneously with the digital release of the full version of a new song! Now that all songs that LiSA has released are available including previous single “Gurenge”, they are attracting ears on a number of playlists!

LiSA has also unveiled her new visual image that depicts the worldview of “unlasting”! The artist photo features a mature-looking LiSA capturing your eyes, and looks like a snapshot from a movie, capturing the image of lo-fi mid-tempo ballad “unlasting.” Keep an eye out for the physical single cover art and the music video clip of the song, which will follow soon!
LiSA also announced her first acoustic national Zepp headlining tour entitled LiVE is Smile Always ~ unlasting shadow starting March next year! Advance tickets are available through her official fan club “LisaLabo.”
